9th January 2026 — Talk “Wreck Reef and Rescue”
Local diver and amateur historian, Nick Reed, will talk about the interaction between the physical, natural and cultural heritage of the maritime landscape off the Purbeck Coast. He’ll explore the amazing underwater landscape that surrounds our coast and how it affects the wildlife and also how it has affected seagoers for thousands of years.
Purbeck Society talks are held in the Mowlem Community Room, located in Swanage.
Talks start at 2:30pm (doors open at 2:15pm).
Talks are free to members, non-members £3.
