Scenic Solent - Tuesday 9th July A cruise down the Solent with Blue Funnel Cruises to Cowes Isle of Wight. We last cruised with this company on their 3 River Cruise in 2011. Exeter City & Cathedral - Wednesday 4th September On this outing I have arranged a guided tour of St Peter’s cathedral. It is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture anywhere. This tour is accessible to disabled visitors. The cathedral tour for those that wish to join will be an extra £5 payable to the Purbeck Society Organiser on the coach. We will have a comfort/coffee stop at Exeter Services before arriving at Painton to catch the 12.15 pm train to Kingswere. Then a short walk to catch the ferry to Dartmouth town centre (approx. 5 mins).. On arrival on Dartmouth quay we will have plenty of time to take lunch (not included) and explore the town.
