National Lottery Awards – vote Durlston

Durlston Castle

Durlston has reached the final in the 2012 National Lottery Awards (Heritage category) and has been shortlisted as one of the 3 best Heritage project of the year. This is an important, national award with the winner decided by public vote and the awards presentation shown live on BBC1 in December.

We would greatly appreciate your support both in voting directly and also through encouraging any colleagues, friends, partners, stakeholders and anyone else you know to vote for Durlston. Winning this award would be a great boost to everyone associated with Durlston and incredibly useful in highlighting the high regard in which the Park is held.

Voting runs until the 28 October, and everyone is eligible to vote as there is no age limit. The count starts at zero, so even if you voted in the last round, we need your vote again, to ensure that Durlston Castle is recognised as the best Heritage Lottery funded project of the last year.

There are several ways of voting:

Telephone: the project voting number is 0844 836 9713: this is a quick, simple and totally automated process – calls cost 5p on a BT landline.

Online links: via – www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/project/durlston-castle – don’t forget Durlston is in the Heritage category.

Facebook Connect: voting by this method is apparently quick and easy, and your vote will be published on your Facebook wall (to vote via Facebook, follow the link above).

Voting will end at midnight on 28th October 2012.

Many thanks for your support.
