Purbeck Association of The National Trust have a few spaces left for their visit to Furleigh Estate Vineyard coming up on Friday 13th May
Leaving Swanage at 9am we make the short trip to the estate. Set in Dorset’s wonderful green and rolling hills 15 miles west of Dorchester, Furleigh Estate makes some of the best sparkling wine in the country. There are over 22,000 vines and a purpose-built winery containing state of the art equipment. A converted barn, where the cows were once milked, now serves as the tasting room where you can sit and enjoy the views while trying the wine after our tour.
Next stop is at the Broadwindsor Craft and Design Centre for lunch (at your own expense) where you can choose a light snack or full meal. There will be time to explore the Centre’s shops before leaving at 4 pm getting back to Swanage about 6.30 pm
The cost to non-PANT members is £27.
