The use of modern technology in the search for the past

October 11, 2019 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Nicholas Crabbe, of Wessex Archaeology, will give a presentation on the use of geophysics and drones that help historians and archaeologists study the landscape and help find what lies below the surface before even a turf has been turned. The extreme dry weather of 2018 has resulted in new sites being found throughout the country.

It is hoped that Nicholas will have done some drone work in Swanage prior to the talk.

Free to members, non members welcome, £3 entrance.
