Reminder to Members, Wednesday 12th July 10am will be the rescheduled visit to the Veterans Forge, a charity set up by Will Spicer several years ago to help and raise funds for military veterans with specific needs.
The forge in the Purbeck Hills now welcomes visitors, not just veterans, to highlight the work of the forge and production of metal work.
Will will show members of the Purbeck society the forge and display techniques used. Visitors may wish to try basic elements.
Visitor numbers will be restricted 10-12 and cars to only 5. Members wishing to attend must contact Karen Delahay on 01929 425049. Members and guests must consider car sharing to reduce car parking needs.
A collection will be made to donate to the charity.
