Exeter City & Cathedral

Our last outing of the Summer season took place on the 4th September when we travelled to Exeter.

Again we were lucky with the weather as we left Swanage in misty conditions which soon gave way to another sunny day.

On the way to Exeter we stopped for coffee/tea at Kilmington just past Lyme Regis. It was then another half hour in the coach to Exeter.

We were dropped off in the city centre and those who wished to take the special tour of the Cathedral met outside M&S at 12.45 and then on to the Cathedral to be met by our guide.

After the Cathedral visit we were free to explore the city until 4.30 pm when the coach collected us for our trip back to Swanage where we arrived at 7.30 pm.
